ABOUT PLASTICS?
A plastic surgeon will want you to have been at a stable weight for six months before seeing you. In unique cir****tances or great weight loss a person may need to have some skin removed during the process of weight loss for comfort or mobility. You certainly wouldn't want to get a tummy tuck before you were done losing weight because you would need a revision when you were finished. Make sense?

33 lbs lost prior to surgery!
This is what I have recently learned as I am going thru the process.
1. You should be at a steady weight for 6 months.
2. You should be at least 18 months out of WLS.
3. You should be very close to your target weight if you are going to do the tummy tuck portion.
I went to Dr. Bergman Jan 25th for my consult. I am having just the panni removal because it is paid for by my insurance. It has become medically necessary. Anthem approved me in 9 days! That is very rare...Doc expected 45 days to approval.
I was told by Dr. Gupta that I could start pursuing plastics at about my 18 month checkup.
Good luck and I will keep you up-to-date on my process. If you have anything you wanna ask, please feel free. I will be open and honest with you. PM anything you don't wanna ask here.
Huge hugz.
